2020 - 2021 - Summer Term

2020/21 - Summer Term - EYFS
Fairy Tale: The Three Little Pigs

This term we have been working on 'The Three Little Pigs'. First we looked at the story plot, then we looked at the characters and how they walk, talk and interact with each other. We learnt our songs and dances and started acting through the scenes. We had a mini house building competition using straw, sticks & bricks. We each made a pig mask and designed a show ticket to send out to invite people to come and watch our show. We decorated pig cupcakes.

2021/22 - Autumn Term - Year 1
Musical: Nativity & LAMDA Poems

This term we have been working on solo LAMDA poems, songs from Nativity & A Bronx Tale. The poems we learnt were 'My Puppy', 'Mix A Pancake', A Chubby Little Snowman', 'Sounds Good!', 'A Little Seed', and 'My Dog Ate My Homework'. We also worked on confidence and performing on stage. The team performed a poem each on stage, their favourite tool for combatting nervousness was to imagine everyone in the audience was on the toilet.
