Parent Governor Election - Nominations

There are two vacancies for parent governors on Wildridings Primary School Governing Body.

We know that parents are interested in the education of their children and share the school’s commitment to ensuring the best possible education and opportunities for our pupils. One of the most significant ways to build on this is to volunteer to be a parent governor. Parent governors play an important role in ensuring that the parent viewpoint is represented in decision making.

You can be nominated if you are a parent or carer of a child currently at the school, provided you are not an elected member of the local authority and don’t work at the school for more than 500 hours a year.

If you wish to stand for election as a parent governor please complete a nomination form. You will need to have your nomination supported by another parent or carer of a child also attending the school. You will find the nomination form at the bottom of this page, along with a declaration of qualification, which you will also need to complete. If you would like a paper copy, please contact Reception.

Nominations will close at 2:00pm on Tuesday 28th September 2021.
