Welcome to Wildridings Primary School!
Early Help
At Wildridings Primary School, we believe in providing support to families as soon as a problem arises—at any point in a child’s life. We know that family life can be challenging and complex, and that parenting doesn’t come with an instruction manual. Every family experiences ups and downs, and sometimes you or your child may need extra help.
If things aren’t right at home, please don’t hesitate to come and talk to us. We are here to help and support you in any way we can.
Our Aims:
- To know our families well and understand their needs, so we can offer the right support at the right time.
- To prevent problems from escalating by offering flexible and responsive support tailored to each family’s situation.
How Early Help Can Make a Difference:
For Children:
Successful early help ensures that children:
- Are physically and emotionally healthy
- Are resilient and able to learn and thrive
- Are supported by their families, the community, and professionals when needed
- Live in safe, nurturing environments
For Parents and Carers:
Early help supports parents and carers by:
- Encouraging mutual support within the community
- Providing clear pathways to access help when needed
- Building trusted relationships with school staff, the wider community, and other parents
- Keeping parents well-informed on how to best support their child’s development
