School Council

At Wildridings Primary School, each class has a School Council representative. These members are elected by their classmates based on their ability to share ideas and help improve the school.

The current aim of the School Council is to raise more money for the school through a range of different events including a Year 5&6 Cake Sale, (see picture below). At the beginning of the year, Mr Ellis asked each class how pupils would like to improve the school, and the School Council is working to act on the key requests.

The School Council has also supported PSHE through whole-school celebration events, such as Kindness Week.

In the previous academic year, the School Council focused on caring for our school environment. As a result, we now have a separate Eco Council.

If you work for a business that may be interested in sponsoring our school or you can support our vision in improving our school further then please do get in touch, we would really like to hear from you.
