Bushcraft May 2018 - Y6 Residential
Year 6 2017-18 enjoying their time out at Bushcraft in the forests of Northamptonshire. Everything from camping, archery, campfire building and cooking (and the odd sing-a-long). Check out the photos of this unforgetable year 6 adventure.
Here's a update from Mr Dodds who visited the children on Wednesday to see how they were getting on:
"Having visited the children today I can happily report they are in fine form (and fine singing voice too!) They were participants in archery, axe throwing and bow and arrow games when I got there and were having a great time.
They had a good sleep last night (Monday was a late one by all accounts but they are now in the camp groove).
They have had home made pizzas, each cooked individually on a wood fire; burgers on an open fire and spaghetti Bolognese; guess how that was cooked.
They are making memories that I'm sure they'll treasure. My favourites were the ones where they have made shelters and some of them were brave enough to sleep in them last night. Hope you enjoy the pictures and look forward to hearing their recounts on Friday. (Just don't sniff too hard when you see them!!!)"
